Jakarta, 17 September 2009 - In cherishing the Ramadhan Month, Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah held various activities as the form of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which were centralized in Victoria Building. The activities include breakfasting together, taking Maghrib and Tarawih prayers in parish, tausiyah and giving contribution for the orphans. These activities started on 24 August and would finish on 17 September 2009.

Doing Ta’jil dan taking prayer in parish (sholat jamaah) was held every week day during Ramadhan Month, while for tarawih prayer in parish was done every Friday.

Besides the activities above, we also held tausiyah which was delivered by very competent key speakers, such as Ustadz Zaenal Abidin, Lc with his theme ”Zakat, Infaq and Shadaqah”, Ustadz Hasan Rifa’i Al Faridhy with his theme ”Being Successful in the World and Beyond”, Ustadz HM Taufik Ridlo, Lc Dipl.Ec with his theme ”Vision of A Moslem in Life”, and Ustadz Bobby Herwibowo, Lc with his theme ”Guidance to Zakat Fitrah”.

On 27 August 2009, Ustadz Hasan Rifa’i Al Faridhy as the key speaker delivered his preaches and it was hosted by Okky Asokawati with the theme ”Being Successful in the World and Beyond”. This program was aired live by Trijaya FM and so would the Tausiyah by Ustadz Bobby Herwibowo, Lc on 17 september 2009.

These Ramadhan activities were more impressive after we held contribution program for the orphans. The orphans were invited from various regions: Bogor, Ciputat, Tangerang and Meruya which was co-ordinated with Dompet Dhuafa. The orphans showed and expressed happiness and joy after receiving some contribution from Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah.

These Ramadhan activities have received so warm enthusiasm from the people. It was proven from the crowd from the building that were always attending our programs. It was planned that this program would finish by 17 September 2009 and would be closed with Tausiyah Ramadhan delivered by Ustadz Bobby Herwibowo, Lc, and aired live by Trijaya FM.
