Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah Goes to School

On 9 November 2009, Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah Metro Pondok Indah Branch in collaboration with Sekolah Islam Fitrah (SIF) AL-FIKRI Depok (both Elementary and Junior High School) held a program titled “Bank Goes to School”. This edutainment program aimed to raise the brand awareness of Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah, to increase the customer base of iB Junior Saving and iB Extra Wadiah Saving, and to improve the students’ knowledge on the banking world.
The program was opened by Mr. Drajat Tjahjono, SVP as the Syariah Banking Sales Group Head and followed by presentation on Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah’s products by Mrs. Otit Sofiawati, Manager. In this occasion, the students were taught about security saving in the bank through story telling by “Amat” character, which was performed by Kak Yaya of Sanggar Ceria.
Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah also distributed merchandises for the students through various educative games led by Kak Arif and Mrs. Sari Metta, Sr. AVP as Branch Manager Syariah Jakarta II. To win any of the merchandises, the students had to snatch away in answering the question from Kak Arif and Mrs. Sari Metta.
This program was an early phase cooperation fostered by Bank CIMB Niaga Syariah MPI Branch and SIF Al Fikri. Another program to be conducted is SPP Payment Cooperation and Tour ‘de Bank. (Sofyan-SBG
